Home of the Sweet Menorah!

(with more on the way...)

Growing up in my family, we were always working on “creative projects.”
Candle-making, tie-dye shirts, wooden castles and cardboard spaceships — our imaginations ran wild, and the sky was the limit. For me, the baking adventures were always the most fun. (Probably because of the scrumptious results...)

It’s in this same spirit that I’m proud to share “Sweet Traditions” with you — a project that combines the fun and sweetness of my personal childhood tradition with our shared Jewish heritage.

I hope you’ll enjoy the experience of building your own unique creation and
sweet tradition!

Sweet Menorah

A Gift

We think the best gifts are not things, but experiences. Giving a family a chance to work together on a fun project like building a gingerbread menorah is a great way to celebrate the holiday without contributing to the accumulation of yet even more "stuff".

A Tradition

While your cookie based menorah will probably not last beyond the holiday of Hanukkah (especially if you decide to eat it), we're confident the memories will stay with you for a lifetime.

Want to see what's inside?

Candies may change from year to year (we like to keep it interesting).

All contents of kit are Star-D Kosher Certified.

Is there a holiday we're missing? Is there a product you really hope to see this year? Let us know!

For PURIM
The giving of a Purim Basket (mishloach manot) dates back to the story of Purim. The Book of Esther (9:22) instructs us in the “sending of portions of food to one another” on Purim. We are developing a Misloach Manot which will consist of a mask and a Queen Esther's crown cookie with icing and decorations to decorate them!

For SHABBAT / HAVDALAH
When most people think of holidays, they think of annual celebrations, but in Judaism there is one holiday that occurs every week - the Sabbath. The lighting of candles ushers in Shabbat. The practice is a rabbinic institution, which, over the centuries, has become the tradition.

Havdalah is a Hebrew word meaning “division” or “separation” This ritual formally ends Shabbat, “separating” it from the beginning of the new week.

We are working on a special Shabbat and Havdalah activities to enhance your Sabbath experience.

Linda's Gourmet Latkes

"As Good as my Grandma's!"

Established in 2004 when Linda realized that it was time to share her delicious mouth-watering latkes with the world. People began to realize that even if they didn't have the time or energy to create their own latkes, they could still enjoy homemade latkes that were equally "as good as Bubbie used to make."
